BILL PUGH, SENIOR CONSULTANT & MANAGING PARTNER

Bill has worked in an Executive Leadership role for non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses for more than 25 years. He is a CFRE fundraising professional with over two decades of experience, and has led and participated directly in the effort to raise over $750 million in donated dollars. He served on several non-profit boards including the Oregon & Southwest Washington AFP Board heading up the Professional Development Committee.

Pugh attended the University of Maryland on a football scholarship and later went on to play football at the University of Cincinnati where he earned a B.A. in General Studies. He earned his Masters of Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio where he graduated with honors. He is a member of the Mariemont high school “Hall of Fame” class of 1985.

He is married, with four children, his oldest son is a 1st Lieutenant, who graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2016. His daughter recently completed her B.A. in Psychology and Family Services and is working on completing her B.S. in Nursing. His second son is attending the United States Air Force Academy on a football scholarship and his youngest son is a Sophomore All-Conference football standout. Bill likes hiking, is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys traveling.

ASHLEY RUSSELL, EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Ashley serves the Executive Assistant for Brennan, Martin, Pugh & Associates. Before joining the BMP team in 2019, she worked in non-profit development for 5 years, with additional work in the healthcare industry. She specializes in non-profit development support and office management.

Ashley is passionate about supporting non-profits with their development needs. She has 5 years of experience and training with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and DonorPerfect, including gift entry and acknowledgement, donor relations, email marketing, social media management, and event management. Her previous roles include Office Manager at Silverton Hospital’s outpatient physical therapy office, Development Associate/Alumni Relations Specialist at Corban University, and Development Associate at Eastside Baby Corner in Issaquah, WA.

Ashley met her husband Dale Russell while working as a camp counselor at Canyonview Camp Ministries in 2009. 6 years later they married in October of 2015 and moved to Washington State where Dale worked as the Executive Chef at SAMBICA Camp & Retreat Center. In September 2019, they moved back home to Oregon with their daughter Grace. Ashley also runs a portrait photography business on the side and loves being a stay at home mom. In her spare time she also enjoys gardening, nature photography, and going on adventures with family.

CLAIRE COLE, HR & RECRUITING ASSISTANT

Claire is an optimistic and driven individual who is passionate about bringing joy to the lives of others  and is committed to achieving successful outcomes in all that she does.  Her past roles as an Administrative Assistant for a successful property management company and as Business Manager and Sole Operator of Cup O’ Joy Coffee have made her very knowledgeable about what it takes to keep all the moving parts of a business running successfully.  She is passionate about capitalizing on the boundless opportunities that we have to make an encouraging and lasting impact on others through the work we do every day.  Her years in tutoring have also taught her the value in helping others increase their confidence through identifying their greatest strengths so that they can perform to their fullest potential in everything they do. 

Serving on several different ministries over the past 8 years has been Claire’s favorite way to be a light in the lives of others.  She has been blessed to be a part of the team serving middle school students and preschool students at Salem Alliance Church, to be an Oncology Services volunteer at Salem Health, to serve in Young Life, to be a hands on coordinator with the special needs Buddy Program, and to work with the Relay for Life.  She also had the opportunity during her time at Grand Canyon University to serve in the Homeless Ministry and the Underrepresented Children’s Ministry, where she was able to be a source of inspiration in the lives of others that were in the midst of difficult and discouraging circumstances.  She has a contagious energy that drives continual engagement in how she can serve and help others. 

Claire met her husband Alex in college, and they were married in 2019.  They were blessed with the birth of their baby girl in 2020, and she is already full of an abundance of joy and has such a sweet personality.  Claire enjoys the opportunity to seek out used furniture and figuring out new trendy ways to repurpose it and bring its character back to life.  In her spare time, she loves to bake and cook, spend time with family, read, hike, and take weekend trips with her husband.  She loves living in the PNW because of her family, community, and the endless beauty it has to offer!

ELEANOR RAY, HR & RECRUITING ASSISTANT

Eleanor joined Brennan Martin Pugh & Associates in 2021, serving as an HR & Recruiting Assistant. She is passionate about helping nonprofits and enjoys working with people from all walks of life.

After graduating from Corban University, Eleanor served in church ministry with roles as Receptionist, Administrative Assistant and Communications Coordinator. Most recently, Eleanor served in Digital Marketing for The Salvation Army, helping promote services and programs across Oregon and Southern Idaho. Through these roles, Eleanor has gained many organizational skills. She has a friendly and calm demeanor and is a reliable member to any team.

Eleanor met her husband Caleb in 2013 while working at Salem First Church of the Nazarene. They were married in 2015 and had their first baby in the summer of 2020. Caleb is an entrepreneur and has recently started his own business in Marketing and Promotions. Eleanor and her family are active at Rolling Hills Community Church in Tualatin, OR where her husband is a part of the Worship Team. Eleanor loves being a mom and watching her son grow and learn new things. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and go for walks with her Goldendoodle.

NATALIE YOUNG, EVENTS & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Natalie serves as the Events & Executive Assistant for Brennan, Martin, Pugh & Associates. Before joining the BMP team she worked as a Project Coordinator and Executive Assistant for a healthcare and aviation company. She is a super friendly, outgoing and ambitious individual who is determined to be efficient and successful in all that she does and will not stop until the goal is met.  Her past roles as a Project Coordinator and Executive Assistant molded and taught her how to wear multiple hats and work on several projects at once. She was born in Papua New Guinea while her parents were there doing mission work and grew up in the church with her father being a minister now turned evangelist after retiring from the NFL. Growing up her family always hosted bible studies in their home, traveled to listen to her father speak at youth rallies and conferences while also ministering to others and constantly serving doing the work of the Lord. 

She has been blessed to be in charge of  many event management projects and volunteer programs in Dallas, TX and plans to do the same in Phoenix, AZ where she relocated to 2 years ago. 

Natalie met her husband Kerry in 2010 during Superbowl weekend, and they were married in 2012.  They have been blessed with two children, a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy who share the same birthday (not planned). 

Natalie loves to spend time with family, travel, shop and attend events. She plans to start a photography business in the near future and hopes to work with many families.

MATT DUNN, EXCLUSIVE EVENTS

With more than a decade’s worth of experience in project management and experiential marketing, Matt enjoys connecting fans to brands via exclusive events and experiences. From Super Bowl festivities and international meetings to industry trade shows, festivals, sampling programs, galas, and grassroot initiatives, he has had the unique privilege of serving a variety of accomplished athletes and artists as well as more than 100 household brands reach their event marketing objective.

Whether needs call for corporate hospitality, a bespoke event setting, or merely an immersive idea that requires implementation, he enjoys helping customers creatively connect with their clients in an unforgettable fashion.

Matt attended Grand Valley State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree(s) in Management and Marketing; he then went on to receive his Masters of Education from Xavier University with a focus in Sport Administration.

With nearly 10 years of marriage, he and his wife along with their son, enjoy traveling and cheering on their favorite sports teams.

LINDI CONOVER-THOMPSON, GRANT WRITER

Lindi Conover-Thompson is a nonprofit and community development grant writer and expert. Lindi is passionate about helping nonprofits and community organizations make great ideas happen by accessing critical gap funding needed to make their ideas a reality. She specializes in state and private grants, foundation research, and community development grants. She offers grant writing and review services, courses, and intensive programs for agencies with big ideas.

AMANDA SHIELDS, ADMIN SPECIALIST

Amanda’s strength is meeting people where they are at and tailoring her services to match individual preferences as much as possible. She provides direct support to Senior Consultants, coming alongside of them to work on projects and campaigns for their clients. Her experience as General Manager for a small manufacturing plant has developed her skills in project management and organization, and she brings this comfort with juggling multiple projects into her role at BMP.  

 When they aren’t working, she and her husband are starting a small homestead where they hope to practice regenerative agriculture, growing and raising their own food. He is a Certified Arborist, and his passion for tree climbing has spilled over into their personal lives, so during the warmer months, Amanda and Cory like to climb to the tops of beautiful old growth trees in Oregon’s forests.

AVA KOEHLER

Ava is very passionate about helping individuals succeed in all aspects of life, mentally, spiritually, and physically. She graduated from Ohio State University in 2020 with a degree in Criminal Justice along with a minor in Substance Misuse and Addiction. During her time at Ohio State, she spent many hours playing with the OSU Tennis Club along with serving the community through the organization, Celebrate One. She currently resides in Fayetteville, NC. In her free time, she can be found practicing yoga or rollerblading on new trails around the city. She also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes. She loves traveling to new states and experiencing new golf tournaments as often as possible. In the Winter, you can find her skiing out West. The East Coast is home to her and she enjoys being able to make weekend trips to the beach while spending time with friends and family.

MORGAN KAMPMEIER

Morgan has experience in all areas of Human Resources across multiple industries including: Senior Living/Health Care, Technology Distribution, Public Safety Consulting, and Government IT Contracting. Morgan’s speciality is in candidate/employee experience and training & development which complement her role as a Recruiter here at BMP. She is a problem solver, can adapt to multiple demands, and places a high value on honesty, transparency, and integrity.

Morgan is currently engaged to her partner, Cameron, to marry in August 2022. Cameron and Morgan met while in college at Penn State and still reside in the State College, PA area, remaining loyal alumni. In her spare time, Morgan participates in her book club, paints, forages, and hikes the many mountains in Pennsylvania.
